Description Substitutions
 
The Perle hop was bred in Germany at the Hop Research Center and made available here in the states in the 1980's.  One variety used as a parent bred was the Northern Brewer.  This is a well rounded dual purpose hop.  Very popular with the craft brewers.

  • Alpha Acids: 7 - 9.5% w/w
  • Storage Stability: 80-85% remaining alpha acids
  • Aroma: Flora and slightly spicy.
